Today’s show is brought to you by Brandon Dawson, CEO and Founder of Audigy Group, Audigy Medical and Stratus Dental Group. Are you asking the hard questions that lead to sound business decisions?
You always have to be asking who, what, why, and how and when. If you don’t understand those factors, then you can’t make good decisions. And when I see people making decisions without considering any of those factors, they usually make bad decisions.
So law of curiosity is a primary law and you have to be curious how you got there. You have to be curious what the present-level thinking was that got you there. You have to be curious what the previous level of thinking was that got you there and you’ve got to be curious to ask who was in that position who was able to do something much more impactful or significant and how did they do it because that’s all information that helps you determine what course of action to take. The more experience you have, the more intuitive that becomes. But if you don’t start out with all that curiosity, then you can’t build the intuition.
So what people do is they make decisions and create results based on limited or broken belief and they’re not asking good questions around them so they’re not getting input from anybody else that might add value to that particular situation or that particular opportunity. And so you really limit yourself and self-limiting situations usually cause larger implications down the road.
